They say they killed Jesus but did not, is in agreement with JESUS' Testimony

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth (Quran), confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah (Tenakh Old Testament) and the Gospel (New Testament).

They are trying to make it seem as though The Quran has a different Jesus than that of The New Testament, aka The Gospel, that Muhammed himself says in the beginning of 3rd Sura that he has come to confirm.

That they said in boast,

For they reasoned together but not aright, saying to themselves

But the ungodly will be punished as their reasoning deserves,

who disregarded the righteous man and rebelled

against the Lord

for whoever despises wisdom and instruction is miserable.

Their hope is vain, their labors are unprofitable,

and their works are useless.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy

We killed Christ Jesus

They seemed in the view of the foolish

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My Own accord. I have authority to lay it down & authority to take it up again

God tested them and found them worthy of himself;

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

but they killed not,

In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died

and their departure was thought to be an affliction,

and their going from us to be their destruction;

but they are at peace.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

nor crucified Him

for whoever despises wisdom and instruction is miserable.

Their hope is vain, their labors are unprofitable,

and their works are useless.

Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, for whoever suffers in the flesh has overcome sin.

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My Own accord. I have authority to lay it down & authority to take it up again. This command I received from My FATHER.

but so it was made to appear to them,

those who differ therein are full of doubts,

They will govern nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord will reign over them for ever.

No one takes it from Me…

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

with no certain knowledge,

Those who trust in him will understand truth,

and the faithful will abide with him in love,

because grace and mercy are upon his elect,

and he watches over his holy ones.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

but only conjecture to follow,

For the fruit of good labors is renowned,

and the root of understanding does not fail.

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

or of a surety they killed him not.

gold in the furnace, he proved them, and as sacrificed offerings he took them to Himself.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it,

ALLAH raised Him up to Himself;

The Souls of the Righteous are in THE HAND OF GOD,

because GOD tried them and found them worthy of Himself.

God tested them and found them worthy of himself;

like gold in the furnace he tried them,

and like a sacrificial burnt offering he accepted them.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

ALLAH is Exalted in Power, Wise

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works
