The staff is the oath of the nation.
The fathers that were like trees, passing on is the dead wood in hand.
Them like to the dead wood, but branched to you sons by word puts them in your hand. Thus you raise your hand in oath to Heaven.
*Without the staff to throw down in plain site truth for all too see, and come together in unity of truth, there is no truth to prove between men, not here believing their own oath, Moses, or Jeuss, or founders, then nothing they will meet at of TRUTH.
There is no standard to meet in unity. you have no rule to judge off, thus you are tumbleweeds, uprooted, and orphaned. Sheep without a shepherd, defenseless, dying, dead in the water. See why Moses throws it down at the beginning of the confrontation, that is THE PILLAR MILE MARKER OF THE LORD GOD AND ALL THE HANDS IN THE LAND. Thus by it does GOD start the division of the light from dark, and at some point that is marked and counted and done, so men repent or you are dead where you stand. All living things have a covering, and the covenant is the covrering.
MOSES' STAFF a rod
when you find Moses you find him smiting the Egyptian, then you find him judging between his brothers, and then you see him called an Egyptian saving the Midianite daughters. Thus Moses staff is also the rod. Where Jacobs is about making that cocvenant to be begotten, to be reborn, Moses is on the employment of it.
And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.
And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.B
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
The Rod is your local officer, the police, the shepherd’s rod is for fending off. It is a club of sorts. It is the legion, that is first at chains when the nation begins. Why it is a serpent when it is thrown down. Moses clearly scared of snakes is told to pick it up by it’s tail. to bring the men in the oath back to it’s root, to show why it is at the head. notice the leprosy that comes later.
It is not the GOD of Israel yet because they still have to choose the covenant. They are not yet Israel to receive the blessing of THE LORD.
They have the oath both at hand, and they are all in it bound to it, it is life, and they all caught chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is Noah’s flood, covenant.(see RAINBOW & LEPRICON).
Jacob become Israel
Jacob makes the covenant with Laban to the daughters. only after being overpowered like a thief in the night. That is Laban had him in hand stealing his daughters and the children they bore. Thus does Laban cover making covenant with Jacob, who then wrestles the shadow, who blesses him Isreal. The first one wiht the name, that is the revelation of GOD's work in man.
Thus does Christ say to Nichodemus, "you breing a teacher of Israel know not these things." that is having to be reborn, Israel is the first one revealed on the whole matter, that is given the name.
Jacob holds on for the blessing. That blessing is grounded in the oaths, the truth, the beginning of the nation. The fathers to scriptures, to THE FATHER.
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.come…: Heb. come upon the heart
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:
I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.
