JOHN'S COMMA not John's tho
  • JOHN'S COMMA not John's tho

    "Johanian Comma"

    • The oldest change we can find

Here's an improved rewrite of the text, maintaining key citations and concepts while enhancing clarity and organization:

      The Johannine Comma

The Johannine Comma, found in 1 John 5:6-8, represents one of the oldest known textual alterations in biblical manuscripts. The original text likely stated that the Spirit, water, and blood "agree as one" rather than "are one." This change has been used to support Trinitarian doctrine, though its validity is disputed; that is changed to "are one," in the stead

      Christ's Relationship to the Father

Jesus carefully addressed his relationship to the Father, stating:

"I go to THE FATHER, for HE is GREATER THAN I. I tell you this that you may believe." (John 14:28)

This declaration, made before the crucifixion, emphasizes the Father's supremacy. In heaven, the hierarchy is clear: the Father is supreme, with the Holy Spirit and the Word (Christ) in agreement but not equal to the Father.

      The Trinity in Heaven

The concept of the Trinity as three co-equal persons is not applicable in heaven. As observed in Revelation, even Jesus (as the Lamb) is distinct from the Father on the throne:

Revelation 22:8-10 and 19:10 show an angel (possibly representing Christ) refusing worship and directing it to God alone.

      The Holy Spirit's Role

The Holy Spirit is described differently from the Father and the Word:

"She will forsake you if you turn back, she flees deceit and is rebuked by a liar... leads you in torturous torments and trials at first, but then sets you straight, and if you go astray, then she will forsake you."

This contrasts with the Father and the Word, who "will never leave you, nor will HE FORSAKE you" (Hebrews 13:5).

      Conclusion

The original text of the Johannine Comma likely reflected John's firsthand knowledge of the heavenly hierarchy. The Father's supremacy in heaven is undisputed, while Christ (the Word) serves as Lord and God to all outside heaven. This understanding aligns with Jesus' own words and the broader biblical context.

But to all outside heaven, THE WORD, aka JESUS CHRIST is LORD and GOD to all. But in heaven the entity being, the man, Jeuss, THE CHRIST, THE LAMB OF GOD, is equal with all the other sons in heaven, i don’t know how to explain this, but by Jesus’ word, "THE FATHER IS EQUALITY." and by THE LORD’S "My first born son, even Istrael my first born." Thus all sons are as the first born, it is an equality of obeying THE FATHER’s

      Revelation 22:8-10
:8 And I am John, who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
9But he said to me, "Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"

      Revelation 19:10
So I fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, "Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
