TONGUES

TONGUES that are new, are the tongues of truth. You choose it, it is not a doing, GOD has done it. The man is born with a double tongue. Also known as the silver tongue. Which is demonstrated in the terrible image of Daniel, the silver chest and hands.
Wis 10:21 For wisdom opened the mouth of the dumb, and made the tongues of them that cannot speak eloquent. |
Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; |
"Holiness is better than eloquence, but men do love eloquence. Him that speaks for the widow, the orphans, the dumb at the gate, his words are eloquent enough no matter what words he uses."
ONLY WISE GOD TEACHES MAN WORD OF UNDERSTANDING
Wis 10:21 For wisdom opened the mouth of the dumb, and made the tongues of them that cannot speak eloquently.
also translated, "he makes the mouths of babes speak clearly"
Isaiah 11:2
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
IN WISDOM NOT FOOLISHNESS Sir 15:9 Praise is not seemly in the mouth of a sinner, for it was not sent him of the Lord.
Sir 15:10 For praise shall be uttered in wisdom, and the Lord will prosper it.
BY THE WORD MOSES IS IN THE STEAD OF GOD
Here you will clearly see that if THE LORD had taught such nonsense as words with no meaning, then pharaoh would have laughed at Moses. Clearly the true word is what makes Moses fit for duty, for it is the salt that GOD has salted you with.
Exo 4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I amnot eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. Exo 4:11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? Exo 4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. Exo 4:13 And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. Exo 4:14 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. Exo 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. Exo 4:16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God. Exo 4:17 And thou shalt take this rod None can read the Proverbs and think ever that GOD is going to teach you to speak jibberish.
The Beginning of Knowledge
Pro 1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
Pro 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
Pro 1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
Pro 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
Pro 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
Pro 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The Enticement of Sinners
Pro 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
Pro 1:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
Pro 1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
Pro 1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Pro 1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
Pro 1:13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Pro 1:14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
Pro 1:15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
Pro 1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Pro 1:17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
Pro 1:18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
Pro 1:19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
The Call of Wisdom
Pro 1:20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
Pro 1:21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
Pro 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Pro 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Pro 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Pro 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
Pro 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Pro 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Pro 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Pro 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
Pro 1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Pro 1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
Pro 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
Pro 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
WORDS ARE THE SALT
THE SAME IT WAS FOR MOSES
THE LORD GOD gives you your words, puts them in your mouth. This is how GOD has made you to answer the world for and as to being GOD in his stead, as the same told Moses, and GOD is equal.
Col 4:4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. SALT YOU CAN NEVER GIVE UP
The Salt is the word, the word is the light you receive from GOD, that you let shine in the world. The TRUTH is good enough, it is from GOD.
Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. NOT AT ANY POINT IN SCRIPTURE
NEVER HAS THE LORD GOD sent an Angel with such jibberish, or any messenger for that matter.
Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
IF YOU LOVE ME YOU KEEP MY WORDS, (not jibberish)
CLEARLY THEY CAN NOT BE FOLLOWING THE SAME CHRIST
They have made up their own Christ, having a false Christ with at false faith, with an unknown GOD, and of no command. For if you love his word you keep his command, the father's are the same as the son's.
Jhn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Jhn 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Jhn 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. Jhn 14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. THIS IS TO KNOW GOD TO KNOW HIS COMMAND HIS WORD
Clearly they are on about something else other than that which GOD IS, thus they are in sin making up GOD, for we know who we serve.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. IN THEIR OWN TONGUES
In Acts when THE SPIRIT falls on the masses, it is not some jibberish.
Acts 2:11-13
11 both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
12 Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13 But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”
IF A DONKEY KNOWS TO SPEAK TO UNDERSTAND
"If GOD makes a donkey speak words to understand how is it that GOD would not give man understanding to do same with tongues." (inspiration S. M. Lokridge)
Because they are lying, it is not a work of THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO IS WISDOM.
THE ANGEL OF THE LORD GOD & Balaam's Donkey
If it is that donkeys get the word at times, what is that man should be at all times. See the last verse, THE ANGEL teaches him what words to say.
Num 22:22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him. Num 22:23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way. Num 22:24 But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side. Num 22:25 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again. Num 22:26 And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left. Num 22:27 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff. Num 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? Num 22:29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
Num 22:30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay. Num 22:31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face. Num 22:32 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me: Num 22:33 And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive. Num 22:34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again. Num 22:35 And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak. PAUL'S PROPHESY & TONGUES
MAKING IT VERY CLEAR
Clear that if you speak in unknown tongues do NOT it at the church. It is evident that Paul is not talking jibberish, but even giving that absolute absurd argument, you are still not to do it in the church, not without an interpreter, and if you can be interpreted, then it is not some jibberish it is just an unknown tongue, that is a tongue most know not in that region.
1Co 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
1Co 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men toedification, and exhortation, and comfort.
1Co 14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
1Co 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
1Co 14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
1Co 14:7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
1Co 14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
1Co 14:9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.
1Co 14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
1Co 14:11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
1Co 14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
1Co 14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknowntongue pray that he may interpret.
1Co 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
1Co 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
1Co 14:16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
1Co 14:17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
1Co 14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
1Co 14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknowntongue.
1Co 14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
1Co 14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.
1Co 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
1Co 14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
1Co 14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
1Co 14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

Dr John MacArthur spiritual gifts.
introduction to a multi-part sermon series on spiritual gifts.
As you may know Dr MacArthur is a cessationist has no bearing here, as he focuses on setting the context for this topic. The last part of the sermon is more historical (extra-biblical for the most part)
will help you better understand what Paul is writing in chapters 10-12.
MacArthur quotes extensively
1924 work by Samuel Angus entitled "The Mystery-Religions," (available online), in order to give us a sense of the religious background from which many of the Corinthian saints had been supernaturally "extracted." In short, MacArthur's introductory sermon would be a great preface before you studied 1 Cor 10-12and I do not think it would significantly bias your own objective reading and study of these chapters. Here is the link to the sermon - 1 Corinthians 12:1 Concerning Spiritual Gifts, Part 1 (May 23, 1976).
ASUZA STREET REVIVAL A SHAM
Asuza Street revival vision
having no covenant, no command, no truth, they could not have any light in them Isa 8:19-20.
Isa 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. https://youtube.com/shorts/WOIhb_2jAhM?feature=share
That whole Isuzu Street revival thing is a sham because the Holy Spirit does not teach confusion for GOD IS not the author of confusion.
Confusion is what they taught because of the tongues, of gibberish and no knowledge in wisdom understanding and the fear of THE LORD. in fact it's the opposite work of the Holy Spirit who's work is truth and truth is freedom leading to liberty in discipline wisdom teaches Covenant fortitude courage Holy Spirit always. Always teaches the Covenant and they have no Covenant. they only have blah blah blah tongues.
I don't know what it was but I could tell you what it was not, and that is Holy Spirit work of truth, for there men stand in truth to get freedom to serve GOD. All the scripture would be wrong if what I said is wrong, but they are not, being the lead of all authorities on the eartb, most wise in words and accurate in speech.
Thus the past hundred years of Christian history in these United States is null and void. All they did from that revival was get more works more jobs, more prisons, more banking, more love of money stones into bread they made towers out of to do adultery..
They have no faith cause they have no faithfulness, there are one in the same. In the faith we are faithful to GOD, thus to wife, thus not idol degree paid permissions, and prisons Incase you thought to be GOD made FEEE
No Covenant but more prisons = NO HOLY SPIRIT for GOD THE FATHER IS THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD THE FATHER & WHERE THR SPIRIT OF THE FATHER IS, THERE IS LIBERTY 🗽! not tyranny by idolatry. Paid permission.
No Covenant equals no freedom, no Freedom equals you cannot serve God See you must be free in order to even serve God.
As Moses told pharoah "let My people go (FREE) so they may serve Me, so says THE LORD." That is Let My people "go free" because the first command is be free Genesis 2:16. Proving that what I just said the whole past hundred years of Christian American history speaking in tongues with no Covenant, to be free, so they cannot serve God, is all a lie and can't be service to GOD .
HOLY SPIRIT IS WISDOM IS COVENANT TO THE FATHER LORD GOD. Not ignorance and they have nothing of wisdom in covenant. God is an awesome God who is known for we know who it is we serve, in spirit and in truth. GOD is not an unknown God. But known and this is by wisdom in covenant.
God teaches men to speak in wisdom not in gibberish because God calls every man to die for the word HIS WORD IN WISDOM THAT IS COVENANTAL word and that's not gibberish words of ignorance. it's words a man of understanding can undsertand, in truth it's words any man can understand for it give men understanding words of wisdom, GOD BEING THE ONLY WISE GOD SPEAKING TO US IN UNDERSTANDING & WISDOM.
u must be free before u can serve GOD 1st amnd 1st sent =1st 2 CMMND of GOD Gen 2:16-17 be free no idols taking freedom PRI-SONS idol sacrifice paygan idolatries.
It is clear ASUZA STREET is not that which GOD teaches men on how to rule and how to keep that which they receive from GOD. the tongues must be that of understanding to the defense and justice of heaven.
WE SHOULD TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD
So it is with gambling it is with the use of the tongue it seems for the spiritual people that speak in tongues. I mean, what did that mean? Is it good? is it bad? Shall we go ahead and take a public opinion's vote, a peer testing to see if it fit us rightly? So now what Thereau says of gambling;
― Henry David Thoreau, On the Duty of Civil Disobedience
“All voting is a sort of gaming, like checkers or backgammon, with a slight moral tinge to it, a playing with right and wrong, with moral questions; and betting naturally accompanies it. The character of the voters is not staked. I cast my vote, perchance, as I think right; but I am not vitally concerned that that right should prevail. I am willing to leave it to the majority. Its obligation, therefore, never exceeds that of expediency. Even voting for the right is doing nothing for it. It is only expressing to men feebly your desire that it should prevail. A wise man will not leave the right to the mercy of chance, nor wish it to prevail through the power of the majority.”
SPEAK THAT WHICH I COMMAND THEE
Jer 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
